Stop Coping and Start Healing

Evidence-Based Therapy for OCD,
Trauma and CPTSD

G-27.jpg

Hi! We are Rachel and Grace! Licensed in Utah and Idaho we help people overcome shame and guilt by treating OCD and trauma together. You deserve to feel good enough, and with the right approach, you can!

Why Do Obsessions & Intrusive
Thoughts Rule Your Life

What most people don't realize is that OCD and trauma often exist together.

Those intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, and relationship fears aren't separate problems - they're connected.

At it's core it's about never being good enough or safe enough.

You've probably tried therapy before. Maybe you've gained self-awareness but still feel tormented.

Traditional therapy treats either your OCD or your trauma, rarely both together.

That's why:

- You still wake up exhausted

- Relationships still feel impossible

- Shame still clings to you

You may wonder if you deserve the good in your life and blame yourself for the bad in work, parenting, and relationships.

But when you address both conditions simultaneously with evidence-based treatments, something remarkable happens.

The intrusive thoughts lose their grip. The relationship chaos calms. The shame begins to lift. You start to just have good days and feel at peace.

We've helped countless others find their way and reconnect with themselves. We want to help you too.

G-36.jpg
Truly one of the greatest therapists I know. She has more knowledge and skill in treating trauma and OCD than almost any other therapist I have met, but that is nothing compared to her compassion, empathy, understanding, and humor. I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for a therapist!

About

Hi, I'm Rachel Higgins, LCSW,

I became a therapist because the mind has always fascinated me. I spent the early part of my career working in trauma and substance use, where I noticed I had a special connection with perfectionists. That naturally drew me into the world of OCD treatment.

My friends describe me as grounded, curious, and passionate. Clients often say I have a "chill vibe" that helps them feel safe being themselves in our sessions.

My approach is integrative and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices like ERP, IFS, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, and positive psychology to help you:

- Break free from perfectionism and self-criticism

- Quiet intrusive thoughts and compulsions

- Heal from trauma and substance use struggles

- Feel valued, heard, and understood

- Co-create a plan tailored to your goals

Outside of therapy, I'm a huge plant lover, a frequent Disneyland visitor, a dedicated thrifter, and a mom who loves being home with her kids.

I might be right for you if you're dealing with OCD, trauma, or perfectionism, want a warm and nonjudgmental space, and are ready to do the real work of healing.

About

Hi, I'm Grace Bithell, LCSW,

I've lived with scrupulosity OCD since age 6, consumed by guilt, shame, and religious fears. After finally getting diagnosed later in life, I've been in recovery for 8 years.

When becoming a therapist, I initially avoided OCD work because it felt too close to home. While specializing in trauma therapy, I noticed that many of my trauma clients had undiagnosed OCD that no one was addressing.

This discovery led me to my focus, treating the intersection of OCD and trauma that affects 1 in 4 trauma survivors. I combine evidence-based treatments for both conditions to help you:

  • Believe in your inherent worth

  • Experience genuine calm and happiness

  • Break free from intrusive thoughts and flashbacks

  • Live without constant shame

  • Feel safe in relationships

I might be right for you if you're dealing with OCD or trauma, appreciate a touch of humor in therapy, and are looking to truly heal, not just cope.
